From Hadrian's wall to the vast sands of Morecambe Bay, the Lake District is a peaceful jewel in dramatic yet serene English countryside. Have panoramic views at every turn as you cruise Lake Windermere, view ancient stone circles, tour celebrated grand houses, ride the narrow gauge railway, spend a day with Wordsworth, an afternoon with Peter Rabbit.

Then explore two thousand years of history in York, city of Vikings, Romans and Saxons. Single Supplement: $370.00*

These prices assume a currency exchange rate of £1 equals $1.85. If there is a change to this rate in excess of 2% on April 1, 2006, the tour price may be adjusted accordingly. Prices are based on fuel prices, taxes and tariffs in force as of June 1, 2005. Until final payment is made, changes in these factors may require a change in the tour price. If this would involve paying more than 10% of the tour price (excluding insurance premiums) you will be entitled to cancel your trip and receive a full refund of the tour price. You must request such a refund within 14 days of notification of the price adjustment.

TOUR PRICE INCLUDES:

5 nights Red Lion Inn, Grasmere and 4 nights Monkbar Hotel, York, Breakfast Daily; 3 lunches and 7 dinners with wine; all admissions as listed in the itinerary and Local guides as appropriate.. Full time services of a British Tour Director and private motor coach and driver. All ground transportation except during free time. Porterage of one piece of luggage per person throughout and all hotel taxes and service charges.
